What you'll do
- Build frontier devtools across the stack: cmux macOS (Swift/AppKit), cmux Windows/Linux (C++/Chromium), cmux iOS, cmux Cloud, sub-router (Go), chatmux, and more.
- Help invent the most useful product for developers to do work with AI.
- Own products and features end to end, including user feedback loops.
- Dogfood, test, and verify constantly; use cmux to build cmux.

- Using 10B+ tokens a day.
- All-rounders and creative problem solvers.
- Great design taste and care for the craft.
- Swift/AppKit, C++, Rust, Go, or Chromium experience.
- Open-source maintainers, former founders, people who ship complete products.
- Sending cmux PRs for us to review or demoing custom cmux plugins / workflows.

What you'll do
- Design frontier devtools across the stack: cmux macOS, cmux TUI, cmux Windows/Linux, cmux iOS, cmux Cloud, cmux.com, chatmux, and more.
- Help design the most useful product for developers to do work with AI.
- Own the look, feel, and interaction model end to end, including user feedback loops.
- Dogfood, prototype, and ship constantly.

- You are a walking encyclopedia of design components from all sorts of apps.
- People come to you for design references all of the time.
- Obsessive taste for native macOS apps and developer tools.
- You prototype in code and ship real UI.
- Typography, motion, and systems thinking; you care about the 1px details, padding, etc.
